Authorities are asking for the public's help to find an Indiana man suspected in a June homicide in northern Minnesota.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says investigators are looking for 40-year-old Daniel Lynn, of South Bend, Ind. Authorities issued a warrant for his arrest Tuesday after investigators found the remains of 28-year-old Christina Woods in a shallow grave on property owned by a family member of Lynn's in Beatty Township, Minn.
Indiana investigators in June asked the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office for help after Woods, of South Bend, had been reported missing. Indiana officials thought she'd traveled to Minnesota.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says Woods' killing occurred the week of June 11. Officials believe Lynn has returned to Indiana, but may be in Minnesota or elsewhere.
