Saturday highs will reach the 70s across most of Minnesota, with a few 60s to the northeast.

Some spots in the Twin Cities metro area could see afternoon highs around 74 degrees this weekend.
Our average high this time of year is 75 degrees in the Twin Cities metro area.
It’ll be warmer and more humid next week. Twin Cities highs should reach the upper 70s Monday, followed by lower 80s Tuesday and Wednesday. Dew point temps in the 60s are expected to arrive Monday afternoon and linger through Wednesday.
Rain chances
Northwestern and north-central Minnesota will have the best chance of showers Friday evening and Friday night.
Most of Minnesota will have a rain-free weekend.
Northwestern Minnesota could see a passing shower late Saturday, and some scattered showers/an isolated thunderstorm Sunday afternoon and evening.

The Twin Cities metro area might not see any measurable rain until late Tuesday.
Tropical storm Florence
Tropical storm Florence in the Atlantic is expected to strengthen this weekend.
It’ll probably be a major hurricane early next week as it tracks between Bermuda and the leeward islands. Florence could still be a major hurricane as it approaches the East Coast of the U.S. next Wednesday and Thursday.

The development of Florence will be watched very closely over the next several days.
Hurricane Olivia tracks toward Hawaii
Hurricane Olivia is expected to weaken to tropical storm strength before it approaches Hawaii early next week.
