Doppler radar storm total rainfall analysis estimates as much as 3 inches fell locally near Princeton, Minn., and Milaca, Minn. These estimates can run on the high side, but I have little doubt that some locations in the area saw at least 2 inches of rainfall locally.

The Rum River will likely see rises in the next 24 hours.
Hail northwest
Strong thunderstorms in northwest Minnesota and North Dakota dumped small hail. Heavy rainfall and small hail pelted Karlstad, Minn., Tuesday afternoon.
The hail was even more intense across the border in Knox, N.D.
Our weather mellows over the next few days. The latest updated temperature guidance this afternoon suggests steadily rising temperatures as we head into the weekend.
