Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a very isolated rain chance. It will likely be the warmest day Minnesota sees for at least the next week.
Wednesday’s forecast
Southern Minnesota is already seeing a few more clouds as of Wednesday morning, and slight instability over the state will keep mostly cloudy skies around much of Minnesota through the day. That instability could bring a couple light, isolated rain showers or sprinkles along the North Shore and in southern Minnesota during the afternoon.

Even with the cloud cover, most of the state will make it into the 60s for highs.

The warm, dry air causing low humidity plus breezy conditions will lead to an elevated fire risk for northeastern Minnesota during the afternoon.

Wednesday’s temperatures are likely to be the warmest we’ll see for the next week. In fact, by Friday, most of Minnesota will be stuck in the 40s. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
