Friday brings dry skies, plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures.
Friday’s forecast
There are a couple areas of fog as we start out Friday morning, especially for northwestern Minnesota, but that is lifting quickly now that the sun is up.

Morning temperatures are in the 30s for northwestern Minnesota and 40s for the rest of the state. That is close to average for this time of year, and the afternoon will also be very seasonable, with highs mostly in the 60s.

There are lingering clouds in northeastern Minnesota Friday morning that should clear out by midday, but the rest of the state is already starting out with sunshine. Mostly sunny skies will prevail through the day, and winds will stay relatively light. Overall, it will be a pleasant day!
More clouds start to move in overnight ahead of widespread rain for Saturday. That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
