Blissful midweek
Our weather turns blissful behind a weak cold front Wednesday. Looks for mostly sunny skies through Thursday. Highs will be mostly in the 70s Wednesday. It’ll be cooler by the big lake.

Heat returns Friday
Heat, humidity and occasional thunderstorm chances return Friday through the weekend. The upper air pattern pumps in a steamy air mass into the Upper Midwest once again.

Look for highs near or above 90 degrees between Friday and Sunday.

The Twin Cities has recorded 11 days of 90-degree heat so far this year. We’ve already hit the annual average. We’ll likely add two to three more days of 90-degree heat this weekend.
