As the conversation continues in Minneapolis about what’s next for the city’s Police Department, a local watchdog panel is going silent.
The city’s Police Conduct Oversight Commission takes feedback from residents about police and public safety, audits misconduct cases and makes policy recommendations.
But the Star Tribune is reporting that the volunteer board is now down to three members from seven, meaning it can’t conduct business.
