Our Memorial Day weekend weather will be decent. High temps will be on the cool side of average to start, but our highs will gradually rebound.

Low temps late Friday night and early Saturday morning will be in the 30s in many locations:
There could even be some 30s around the outer edges of the Twin Cities metro area.

Saturday afternoon highs will be mainly in the 60s:
Our average Twin Cities high temp is 73 degrees on May 29, so metro area highs in the mid-to-upper 60s on Saturday will be several degrees below average.
Saturday wind gusts will be in the 14 to 19 mph range in many areas, but gusts over 20 mph are expected in northwestern Minnesota:
Forecast gusts are in knots, with 13 knots equal to 15 mph.
Back to temperatures, Sunday highs will range from the 70s in northwestern Minnesota to the 60s southeast:

Rain chances
Western Minnesota will have a chance of scattered showers on Saturday. Minnesota and western Wisconsin could see occasional showers on Sunday.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential rain pattern for Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon:
On Memorial Day, the rain chances shift to mainly to the southeastern half of Minnesota and on into Wisconsin.
There’ll be plenty of dry hours at all locations this Memorial Day weekend.
