The family of Amir Locke announced the 22-year-old’s funeral will be Thursday at the Shiloh Temple International Ministries in Minneapolis, a landmark Black-led congregation on West Broadway Avenue that has hosted final rites for Jamar Clark, Daunte Wright, Barway Collins and Aniya Allen.

Rev. Al Sharpton, who also spoke at the funerals of both George Floyd and Daunte Wright, will give remarks, as well as Locke's family and their attorney, Ben Crump.

The family has scheduled a visitation for 10 a.m., with the funeral scheduled to begin at 11.

Locke was fatally shot on Feb. 2 while Minneapolis police serving a search warrant burst into a high-rise downtown apartment. Locke was not named in the warrant.
