It’s day two of three of our current storm system. Much of northern Minnesota saw snowfall Tuesday and overnight Tuesday night. Waubun, Minnesota saw 8 inches. Duluth picked up 5 inches.

Expect more rain showers Wednesday though snow will start to mix in, even in southern Minnesota.

We could see a slushy coating of snow in southern Minnesota on grassy areas, especially overnight Wednesday night. Northeastern Minnesota will continue to receive the bulk of snowfall.


We’ll continue to have high winds through early Saturday. Winds have become northwest as the low pressure center has tracked east.

Some sunshine will be possible Friday afternoon with much brighter skies by Saturday and temperatures that could finally reach 60 degrees again by Sunday and Monday.
