It was a busy severe weather evening Tuesday across the Upper Midwest.
Multiple tornadoes skipped across northern Iowa. This classic tornado just missed this farmstead near Gilmore City, Iowa.
As of this post, NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center has four preliminary tornado reports from Iowa.
So far we’ve seen no tornado reports from southern Minnesota. But there are plenty of severe hail reports.

Scattered thunderstorms will fade overnight. Wednesday brings breezy and cooler weather with highs in the 40s in the Twin Cities.
