A cool front sliding south will bring clouds to northern Minnesota and wind for everyone Thursday. It will be warmer in southern Minnesota ahead of the front in the low to mid-70s.
Warmer south Thursday with increasing wind
Winds will once again increase Thursday as a cool front slides south across northern Minnesota.

Temperatures will only manage the 50s and 60s in northern Minnesota with increased cloud cover.

Northern Minnesota also will see a few showers midday into afternoon Thursday.

In southern Minnesota we’ll see more sun and warmer temps in the low to mid-70s.

Showers move in Friday night
The next system brings mainly some scattered rain showers late Friday night and again late Saturday. Moisture and instability look rather low, so thunderstorms won’t be prevalent.

It will be cooler Saturday with the clouds and some showers around.

The pattern remains overall cooler than normal into much of next week. Highs will remain about 5 degrees cooler than the normal.
