Heat builds in Tuesday
Southwest Minnesota gets the heat Monday with highs well into the 90s. For the rest of us, the heat really moves in Tuesday.
We’ll see heat indices (the combination of dew points and temperatures) of 100 to 103 in the Twin Cities. The Twin Cities metro is under an excessive heat warning while much of the rest of central and southern Minnesota into western Wisconsin is under a heat advisory.
