Cold still Tuesday with much warmer temperatures in sight

It’ll be another unseasonably cold day Tuesday with highs in the 30s to low 40s in southern Minnesota. We should see mostly sunny skies. Wind chills are starting out in the teens and even single digits. Temperatures trend upward Wednesday into the weekend.

Another cold day Tuesday but a bit calmer and bright

It’s definitely a cold one early Tuesday with temperatures in the 20s and teens across Minnesota. Wind chill values are in the teens and even single digits. We’ll see sunshine today and winds will be lighter overall but still breezy at 5-15 mph, gusting to 15-20 mph.

High temperatures will still be about 15 to 20 degrees colder than normal.

The breeze will make it feel like it’s below freezing all day long. It will be another frigid overnight Tuesday night with a hard freeze once again.

Much warmer by week’s end

The temperature trend is upward starting Wednesday with highs well into the 40s and some low 50s developing in southwest Minnesota. By Friday southern Minnesota sees highs in the 60s and temperatures will be at 70 degrees or warmer for southern Minnesota Saturday and Sunday
