Temperatures trend back upward

After a few seasonable days, the temperatures trend back up above normal heading into the weekend and much of next week. Much of southern Minnesota could see highs back in the low 60s, which is a full 10 degrees above the normal.

Very dry weather continues

While we had several hours of very light rain Monday afternoon and evening, it didn’t amount to much. Most of us in the Twin Cities area measured it in hundredths of inches but southeastern Minnesota did see more significant rain.

Unfortunately, we remain overall in a very dry pattern through the week into next week yet. There’s the slightest chance of a few sprinkles Thursday mainly north and west.
