Our temperatures will rebound nicely Sunday afternoon. The weather will cooperate with outdoor plans, including sledding or just a nice walk or jog. Some people will probably take advantage of the milder temps to clear the icy patches that formed Friday evening when our temperatures plummeted.
Temperature trends
Sunday highs will be in the 20s in roughly the northern third of Minnesota and into northwestern Wisconsin. High temps in the 30s are on tap for most of central and southern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin. Some spots in southwestern and west-central Minnesota that have very little snow cover could touch 40 degrees. Much of the Twin Cities metro area should reach the lower 30s.
Monday highs will be in the 20s across much of Minnesota, but there’ll be some teens in northwestern and north-central Minnesota and some lower 30s in the far southeast:

Monday afternoon wind chills will be mainly in the teens, with single-digit wind chills to the northwest:

Snow chances
A low pressure system tracking across southern Canada will spin some light snow into portions of far northern Minnesota Sunday afternoon and evening.
Far northern Minnesota plus far southern Minnesota could see light snow showers on Monday. The southern edge of the Twin Cities metro area could get clipped by a snow shower Monday morning.
Northern Minnesota will have a good chance for periods of light snow on Tuesday, with patchy light snow possible to the south, including the Twin Cities metro area. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale (NAM) forecast model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 5 a.m. Tuesday to 6 p.m. Tuesday:
