Enjoy the lighter winds and sun Tuesday because we won’t see much of either for several days. Highs will range from the near 60s south to the 40s north. Rain, thunder develop early Wednesday with some snow to the north. Moisture lingers into Friday.
Enjoy the last sunny day for a while
Winds will be lighter and we’ll have sunshine all day Tuesday. Make sure to get out and enjoy it because we’ll be in for a gray and occasionally damp stretch after today.
Temperatures will be the warmest of the week but still a bit below normal Tuesday afternoon. Highs will range from near 60 in the south to the 40s north.
Several days of clouds, rain, snow starts Wednesday
The first of a few rounds of moisture will move in late Tuesday night into early Wednesday with scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms.
More rounds of moisture will move through into Thursday and Friday with snow in northern Minnesota late Thursday.
The potential for 1 to 2 inches of liquid equivalent precipitation is possible Wednesday into Friday as many rivers are at their highest across the state.
