After a soggy weekend for southern Minnesota, we’re in for a few dry days with lots of sun. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80 for northwest Minnesota Monday with clouds lingering far south, keeping temps in the upper 60s there.

Sunshine, dry weather and warmth through Wednesday

We’re in for sunshine through Wednesday along with warmth and dry weather. In fact, northern Minnesota could see conditions favorable for fast spreading fires with warm temps, low humidity in the afternoon. They did not get the weekend rains that southern Minnesota did.

Monday will see some lingering clouds in far southern Minnesota yet which will keep temperatures cooler there. Just as with the weekend, northern Minnesota will be warmer where they’ll see the most sunshine. There’s no precipitation in the forecast through Wednesday.

We’re then in for a dry, sunny weekend — something we haven’t seen since late March believe it or not. We’ve had bad timing but this weekend looks to finally remedy that.
