Most of us are seeing our coldest morning in three to four months with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. We’ll see lots of sun as high pressure dominates our weather into Thursday.
Sunny skies and cool Wednesday; warmer Thursday
Most in eastern Minnesota woke up to their coldest morning in three or four months. In the Twin Cities it was our first morning below 50 since May 20th. We’ll see sunny skies today and it will still be on the cooler side of normal with highs mostly in the 60s. Southwest Minnesota will see some low to mid 70s.
Tonight won’t be nearly as cold, but there will still be pockets of 30s in northeast Minnesota while most of southeast Minnesota is in the 40s and low 50s.
Temperatures return to summer levels Thursday afternoon with more sun. Highs will be in the low 80s for most of southern Minnesota and in the low 70s north.
Clouds increase Friday as the next system and cool front move in. We’ll have a chance of spotty showers. The weekend looks beautiful with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 70s south and 60s north.
