Lovely Monday

Monday will start out with patchy fog that will give way to mostly sunny skies. High temperatures around Minnesota should range from the low and mid 50s in the east to the low 60s west. The Twin Cities should reach about 57 with a light north breeze.

Pleasant again Tuesday

Tuesday will likely be a few degrees warmer as the flow becomes southerly.

A weather system from western Canada will spread showers into northwestern Minnesota late on Tuesday. That system will spread scatterings of showers around the state Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night. Isolated showers could linger into Thursday.

Temperatures should cool just a little as that low pressure system moves off to the east.
