A nice Tuesday followed by possible showers Wednesday
Tuesday will be a very nice day by mid October standards. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s across southern Minnesota and in the mid to upper 50s northeast.

Those readings range from five to ten degrees above normal.

We’ll have plenty of sunshine through high clouds moving in as well along with a light south breeze becoming more blustery in the west. A clipper system will touch off spotty showers in northwest Minnesota Tuesday evening and those will spread across northern Minnesota Tuesday night and south and east into Wednesday.

Behind the system it will be slightly cooler later in the week but to near normal readings. Another system will bring a few showers to mainly northern Minnesota Friday.
