Parts of Minnesota have gorgeous fall colors right now.

My wife and I have taken several fall color strolls and drives over the past week. We’ve noticed that some trees are showing brilliant fall colors and other trees have dropped most of their leaves. There are clusters of trees that are just beginning to show their fall colors and a few trees are still mainly green.

Fall color report

Much of northern Minnesota is past peak for fall colors, but beautiful fall colors are on display in large portions of central and southern Minnesota.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources fall color report for Minnesota State Parks and Trails looks like this:

When you look at the fall color map, keep in mind that all deciduous trees are included, not just maples.
