Mild Friday with showers developing northeast
The next fast moving clipper-type system is pulling in mild air ahead of it Friday. We’ll see high temperatures well into the 60s with even some low 70s in southwest Minnesota.
While central and southern Minnesota will see a fair amount of sun, clouds will increase north with rain showers developing in the afternoon into the overnight hours Friday night.
There could be a few lingering showers north Saturday with a mix of clouds and sun statewide. High temperatures Saturday will be cooler but seasonable, mainly in the 50s.
Temperatures remain at or above normal into the middle of next week with the next rain chance developing Tuesday. That will be followed by much colder air to end next week.
