Snow showers end with gusty winds in the wake of the overnight clipper system. Northwest winds will blow at 15 to 30 mph this morning. We should see warmer conditions by late week.
Snow showers end, wind takes its place Tuesday
The cold continues to hold on and we’ll see blustery winds in the wake of the overnight clipper system. The winds will gradually decrease through the afternoon into the evening Tuesday.
There will some lingering snow showers early in eastern Minnesota but clouds should decrease through the day.
High temperatures will continue to be frigid ranging from the mid 20s northwest to mid 30s southeast.
It will be pretty cold for trick or treaters but dry with lighter winds than in the morning. Wind chill values will near 10 in the northwest to low 20s in southeast Minnesota during the evening.
Temperatures should warm up as we return to a zonal flow later this week. We’ll also see a lot of clouds and some spotty rain and snow showers Friday into the weekend with a couple storm systems.
