The wind slacked off and the sky cleared Tuesday night. A weak cold front will be exiting southeastern Minnesota. High pressure will provide a lovely Wednesday with bright sun and little wind.

Temperatures will climb into the very mild range. Expect afternoon highs from the upper 40s and mid 50s north to the low 60s south. The Twin Cities should warm to a high near 60 with variable winds of just 5-10 mph.
Cold front Thursday will turn the state much cooler by Friday
A cold front from Canada will cool northwestern Minnesota on Thursday. Ahead of the chillier air, central to southeastern Minnesota will have a windy, warm day until the front arrives in the late afternoon or early evening. The Twin Cities should warm into the low 60s on a gusty south breeze until the front arrives around suppertime. Temperatures will then fall during the evening.
The cooler air will be entrenched for Friday and bring us seasonable temperatures for mid-November. The Twin Cities should see a high in the low 40s.
Pleasant weekend
A pleasant weekend remains in the plans with temperatures a bit milder than average. Highs seem likely to be in the upper 30s in the Arrowhead region, 40s for most of the state, and low to mid 50s in the southwest both Saturday and Sunday.

Chilly next week
Temperatures will turn to the cool side next week, even cooler than normal for the last third of November. Tuesday is likely to kick off the chilly spell.
