A low-pressure system will clip northwestern Minnesota into Thursday morning. Snow will fall in places like Hallock, Karlstad, Roseau and Warroad overnight.
A couple of inches of snow may fall in northwest Minnesota. And a few flakes may fly in parts of central and southern Minnesota. Here’s the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Global Forecast System model snowfall output:

Highs Thursday will hover around 50 degrees again in the Twin Cities and much of southern Minnesota with 30s and 40s north. Note the cooler blue hues blowing in from the northwest.

The weekend brings plenty of sunshine. Cooler temperatures prevail on Saturday.

But highs will begin to warm again by Sunday. Highs in the 50s will cover about the southwest half of Minnesota Sunday afternoon.

Monday brings another shot of unseasonable warmth. Highs in the 60s will cover most of southern Minnesota again Monday and Tuesday with 50s north.

Temperatures are already running about 17 degrees warmer than normal through the first six days of March. This looks likely to be our 11th straight warmer-than-normal month in Minnesota going back to last April.
