While southern Minnesota sees a bit of a warm up and more sunshine, northern Minnesota will see rain and snow develop. A red flag warning is in place for west-central and southwestern Minnesota.

The warm, windy conditions have prompted a red flag warning for southwestern Minnesota due to elevated fire conditions. In northwestern Minnesota it’s a winter weather advisory Wednesday into Wednesday night for snowfall.

We have two separate disturbances to affect Minnesota through Friday. The first one moves just north of most of Minnesota and will affect the northern portions of the state into Thursday.

We’ll be mild again south and east Thursday with highs in the 40s and 50s while it will be in the 20s and 30s in northwestern Minnesota. Friday and Saturday will be cooler statewide, mostly in the 40s south to 30s north. Those readings are still above normal.
