Continued unsettled with thunderstorms developing for southern Minnesota
It’ll be warm again Wednesday with highs in the low to mid-70s in central and southern Minnesota by afternoon.
More scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across southern Minnesota Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.
A couple storms could become strong. There’s a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe weather for far southern Minnesota Wednesday into Wednesday night.

A potentially frosty night could develop Wednesday night for portions of northeast Minnesota. Forecast lows are in the mid to upper 30s and there’s a frost advisory later Wednesday night into early Thursday:
Thursday will be mainly dry but cooler in the low to mid-60s across southern Minnesota.
Another chance of spotty showers moves through Friday. Showers will be more isolated over the weekend along with warmer temperatures.
It’s a big weekend with the Fishing Opener Saturday and Mother’s Day on Sunday. The weekend is looking pretty good. Highs will be in the 70s south Saturday and near 80 Sunday.
There’s the chance of a couple isolated thunderstorms Sunday afternoon as a cool front moves across the state but it will not be a high risk. The best chance is in northeast Minnesota.
