From Friday:

Welcome to a seemingly rare weekend with no rain for Minnesota.

A cooler and less humid air mass blows through the weekend. Dew points in the sticky 60s and 70s across Minnesota will be swept away by fresh northwest breezes.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s NAM 3 km model shows the sticky dew points getting shoved south of Minnesota this weekend. Dew points in the 50s and even some 40s will feel great! The loop below runs between 1 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Sunny skies grace most of Minnesota this weekend. Highs this weekend feel much cooler. Saturday brings highs in the 60s to much of Minnesota:

Rain returns Monday into Tuesday

The next rain waves return to Minnesota Monday into Tuesday. NOAA’s Global Forecast System and other models show scattered rain and thunderstorms again. The loop below runs between 1 p.m. Monday and 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The early look at the Fourth of July suggests highs in the 80s with, you guessed it, another chance for thunderstorms.

Enjoy the sunnier days as they arrive.
