My dad recently wrapped up his first year of technical college! Going to college is something he has wanted to do for practically my whole life and he finally made the jump in his 50s. Had a proud daughter moment when I heard he made the dean's list!

This week we are celebrating the 50th birthday of our friend and neighbor Angie. Raised on a farm in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, she has done it all — from traveling to Antarctica to a career helping refugees and other marginalized Minnesotans. Most recently, she spent time volunteering to tend the gardens at the historic prison on Alcatraz Island. We salute you Angie! And we can't wait to see what you do with your next 50 years.
