Edwidge Danticat is the acclaimed author of “Breath, Eyes, Memory” and “Everything Inside.” A 2009 MacArthur fellow, her memoir “Brother, I’m Dying” won the National Book Critics Circle Award.
Alice Hoffman, ‘When We Flew Away’

“When We Flew Away: A Novel of Anne Frank Before the Diary” brings Anne Frank’s story to life, detailing the Frank family’s harrowing experiences during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.
Alice Hoffman is the author of over 30 novels, including “The Dovekeepers” and “Practical Magic.” Her work has won numerous awards, including the Dayton Literary Peace Prize.
Louise Erdrich, ‘The Mighty Red’

“The Mighty Red” is set in the Red River Valley, exploring love and resilience amidst economic and ecological challenges.
Louise Erdrich is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author of many novels, volumes of poetry, and children's books. She is a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and owns Birchbark Books & Native Arts in Minnesota.
Kate DiCamillo, ‘The Hotel Balzaar’

“The Hotel Balzaar” follows Marta’s adventures at a mysterious hotel as she unravels tales that might hold the secret to her missing father.
Kate DiCamillo is a Newbery Medal-winning author known for “The Tale of Despereaux” and “Because of Winn-Dixie.” She was the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature for 2014–2015.
All tickets are $30 for the general public and $25 for MPR members and Star Tribune subscribers. Season ticket packages are available at $22.50 per ticket.
