Police are investigating two deaths in Blaine following reports of a shooting just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Law enforcement agencies arrived near the 200 block of Territorial Road Northeast and found an adult male with critical injuries outside of a house.
His injuries appeared to be from a gunshot wound, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
Despite first aid measures, the man was declared dead at the scene.
Soon after, law enforcement located a suspect on Seventh Street Northeast, a couple miles away. The adult male was found dead in a vehicle, seemingly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“There is no known threat to the public, and no further suspects are being sought,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
The Blaine Police Department, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
