After another warm, humid, stormy day Thursday, we’re in for a stretch of dry, beautiful weather with lots of sun. Temperatures will be seasonable Friday and Saturday but cooler Sunday and Monday.
Sunshine and gorgeous weather ahead
Friday will be a spectacular day after yet another warm, humid stormy day Thursday. Highs will be mostly in the 70s across the state with lots of sun and a northwest breeze.
The dew points are already much more comfortable and will remain in the 50s Friday.
Saturday will be just slightly warmer with more sunshine again. Southern Minnesota should see highs in the low 80s with 70s north.

Our third cool front of the week blows through Saturday night without much fanfare or moisture. A few showers or thunderstorms will be possible late Saturday in northeastern Minnesota. Sunday and Monday will be cooler with highs in the upper 60s north to just low to mid-70s south.
It will set us up for a cool Sunday night and early Labor Day morning. Lows will be mostly in the 40s except in the urban heat island core of the Twin Cities.
Dry weather prevails into next week. In fact the six to 10-day precipitation outlook calls for better odds than not of below-normal precipitation.
Temperatures will modify by mid to late week also, back to potentially above-normal temperatures. By late next week the normal high is in the 70s across the state.
