Expect another beautiful weekend day with temperatures warming into the upper 70s to low 80s. The Red River Valley area might see even warmer temperatures, reaching the mid-80s on Sunday. Enjoy mostly sunny skies with southwest winds at 5-15 mph. In northern Minnesota, winds will be more westerly.
Low temperatures for Sunday night will drop into the upper 50s for the metro area. Northern Minnesota will see upper 40s to low 50s.
Warm work week ahead
Expect consistent temperatures in the 80s across the state as we head into the work week. Monday’s highs push into the lower to mid-80s. There will be plenty of sunshine with winds out of the south 5-10 mph, increasing to 10-20 mph for western Minnesota.
Tuesday through Friday our temperatures remain at least 10 degrees above our average high. Wednesday, western and southwestern Minnesota could see the return of 90s to the forecast. Little to no precipitation in the forecast for the foreseeable future.
