We’ll have one last warm day across southern Minnesota ahead of a cool front. That front will touch off some showers for mainly northern Minnesota into Tuesday night. Wednesday will be cooler.

We’re squeezing out one more very warm day ahead of a cool front moving across Minnesota Tuesday. Highs will be well into the 70s across southern Minnesota, but northwestern Minnesota will already be considerably cooler.

Thursday’s cool front has the potential to touch off more widespread rain showers which would be welcome news for parched regions of Minnesota. While rainfall amounts don’t look to be too heavy, it could be the first measurable rainfall for the Twin Cities in a while.

After the cooler, but near-normal temperatures Friday and Saturday, we begin to warm back up into early next week. Some models have us in the 70s to even near 80-degrees again by next Tuesday, Oct. 29:
