It’s a rainy Election Day 2024 across much of Minnesota.
A slow-moving low-pressure system has delivered waves of showers throughout the day.
So far rainfall totals have run between .25” and .50” at many locations. Here are some select rainfall totals around Minnesota through the early afternoon.

The swirl of showers is lifting north today. Most forecast models taper off showers late this afternoon into early evening around the greater Twin Cities area. Here’s NOAA’s NAM 3 km model between 1 and 7 p.m. tonight.
Temperatures today are in the 40s across most of Minnesota.
