A welcomed return to the 40s for Sunday with partly sunny skies. Throughout the week, we’ll experience an active weather pattern with several opportunities for rain, sometimes mixed with snow, while above-average temperatures persist.
Brighter hues of yellow and orange return to the weather maps on Sunday as 40s and 50s paint the southern half of the state.

Sunday night one of our multiple disturbances will mainly affect northern Minnesota, bringing increased cloud cover with rain chances. As temperatures cool overnight, some snow will mix in, and there is a possibility of some light freezing rain.

Overnight temperatures will dip into the low to mid-30s across the state on Sunday night, with slightly cooler conditions along the North Shore, where temperatures are expected to reach the upper 20s.

Monday will feature partial sunshine with temperatures climbing into the 50s for the metro area. The southwestern corner of the state will be the “hot” spot with low to mid 50s expected.

Another wave on Monday will bring light, scattered rain showers to the southern half of the state. These showers will be infrequent and light in intensity.

Expect high temperatures this week to average 10-15 degrees above our seasonal normal.
