Brighter Tuesday, warmer Wednesday, more rain Thursday
We’re in for a dry day Tuesday with decreasing clouds. Skies will be brighter for most with near-normal temperatures in the 40s and 50s.

It’ll be another chilly overnight, especially in northeastern Minnesota, with lows dropping into the upper teens and low 20s there with low to mid-30s south.

Wednesday will bring more sun and warmer temperatures. Highs should reach the 60s for much of southern and western Minnesota.

The next storm system is already moving in for Thursday into early Friday, bringing the next chance of rain showers and perhaps even some thunder.

Much of eastern Minnesota could get one-half inch or more of rainfall Thursday into Friday. The Twin Cities is behind by about a half inch for April precipitation so this may undo that deficit.

Skies should clear out for the first half of the weekend with continued seasonable temperatures. The next chance of showers develops later Sunday.
