U.S. House: District 3

Early voting is underway for Minnesota’s primary election. On Aug. 13, in person voters will determine which candidates will be on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 5.

MPR News reached out to all candidates, providing a three-question survey for them to fill out and inform voters about who they are and their priorities if elected.

Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District primary election was canceled. DFL candidate Kelly Morrison and GOP candidate Tad Jude advanced to the general elections in November.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips currently represents the 3rd District but stepped down following an unsuccessful bid for president.

Given that only one candidate per party filed for nomination, Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District primary election was canceled.
