Primary Election 2024: Voter Guides

U.S. House: District 5

Early voting is underway for Minnesota’s primary election. On Aug. 13, in person voters will determine which candidates will be on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 5.

MPR News reached out to all candidates, providing a three-question survey for them to fill out and inform voters about who they are and their priorities if elected.

Democrat primary candidates

Here are the candidates running in DFL primary: Ilhan Omar (incumbent), Abena McKenzie, Don Samuels and Nate Schluter.
