Near-normal temperatures to start October
It’s finally considerably cooler, but actually right near normal for temperatures Tuesday. It will be a bit of a roller coaster for temperatures into the weekend and continued dry.
Red flag warning for Monday; fire danger elevated
Red flag warnings have been issued for a large portion of Minnesota. Gusty winds and dry air will create critical fire weather conditions Monday afternoon. Critical fire weather conditions will create an environment where any sparks or flames can rapidly escalate out of control.
One more 80 degree day to wrap up a record September
Warm temperatures are expected for Monday, ahead of a blustery, dry cold front that will move in Monday afternoon. This will bring a nice cooldown into the 60s for Tuesday, followed by another warm-up later in the week.
Sunshine and 80s; cold front on Monday
Summer-like temperatures persist for the final days of September. A dry, cold front will bring temperatures down into the 60s on Tuesday, but highs will quickly rebound into the 70s by Wednesday.
Fall-like mornings and summery afternoons
Temperatures continue to soar well into the 80s all weekend long. Although we aren’t near record temperatures today highs are forecast at unseasonably warm levels in the middle 80s.
