Former officer Derek Chauvin has been sentenced to 22 1/2 years in prison for the murder of George Floyd while in police custody. The three other ex-cops involved with the arrest — Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao — have been charged with two counts each of aiding and abetting and go on trial in March 2022.
