The University of Minnesota is bringing back its mask mandate, after an uptick in COVID-19 cases nationwide related to the Delta variant.  In a message to faculty, students and staff, University President Joan Gabel says she’s reinstituting the mask mandate starting Tuesday. Family, friends and supporters of Sunisa Lee, 18, cheered her in a suburb of St. Paul as she won her first Olympic gold medal in all around gymnastics competition Thursday in Tokyo. Lee became the fifth American woman in a row to claim the Olympic all-around title. She is the first Hmong-American on the U.S. Olympic team.
