Barbara Bachman's condition upgraded to stable

The condition of Lakeville resident Barbara Bachman has been upgraded to serious but stable condition. Bachman was stabbed in Beijing Saturday as she was visiting tourist sites near the Olympics with her husband, Todd Bachman, the CEO of Bachman's garden center.

Bachman CEO killed and wife injured in Beijing attack

Neighbors and friends are reacting with shock and sadness to the news that Todd Bachman, head of Minneapolis-based Bachman's garden center, was stabbed and killed in Beijing early Saturday. Todd Bachman's wife Barbara was seriously injured in the attack and remains hospitalized.
