Richard Eklund (pictured with his wife Jeanette) worked at the LTV mine for 37 years. He says in spite of annual physicals, the company never told him he was developing lung problems. And now he calls the Health Department's delay in releasing information about mesothelioma deaths a "rip-off." He says if current workers were fully-informed, some of them might choose to quit working in the mines.
