And now he calls the Health Department's delay in releasing information about mesothelioma deaths a "rip-off." He says if current workers were fully-informed, some of them might choose to quit working in the mines.

Richard Eklund and his wife Jeanette talk about the disease they've been dealing with since he retired from the LTV mine. He worked with asbestos, and now it's eating away at his lungs.
