Security around the Beijing Olympics is tighter after a weekend attack on a Minnesota couple.
Bachman's CEO Todd Bachman died Saturday after being assaulted by a man with a knife.
The condition of Bachman's wife Barbara Bachman, injured in the attack, was upgraded this morning from critical to stable.
The couple were in China to support their daughter's husband, who is coach of the U.S. men's Olympic volleyball team. Elisabeth Bachman McCutcheon is also a former Olympic volleyball player.
Police investigating the incident said Sunday the suspect was distraught over family problems. He committed suicide after the attack.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Jay Weiner, who is in Beijing covering the Olympics for MinnPost.com.
