Democrat Tarryl Clark says she has collected more than $505,000 this year in her bid to unseat Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann.
Clark's campaign released her fundraising for the first three months of the year on Tuesday.
Clark, a state senator from St. Cloud, will face fellow Democrat Dr. Maureen Reed in an August primary after winning the DFL endorsement last month. Bachmann is seeking a third term.
Candidates for Congress are required to report fundraising by April 15. Neither Bachmann nor Reed have released their totals yet.
The 6th District covers the northern Twin Cities suburbs and stretches west past St. Cloud.
