Mortenson Construction has finished the redo of the field at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.
Above is a mock-up released by the Vikings of what it'll look like when NFL teams take the field starting in August. According to the Vikings:
While the “MINNESOTA” block letter script will be gold and maroon for Gophers games, the letters will be purple and white on Sundays. The Norseman will also be painted at midfield for each game, giving the field the Vikings look and feel that fans want.

Team officials are also branding the upcoming home seasons a "back to the elements experience."
The Vikings and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority paid about $6.6 million to upgrade the Gopher's home stadium for NFL play. The Vikings are expected to pay about $5 million annually in game-day expenses, as well as another $3 million annually in rent.
The team also agreed to contribute another $125,000 in cash and in-kind contributions to help ease the impact on surrounding businesses and residents.
