After setting up a perimeter around that home, officers entered and found another woman and child, also fatally shot. The suspect — a 46-year-old man — was also found dead.
In an update Friday morning, authorities identified the victims and suspect.
Duluth police said 47-year-old Erin Abramson and 15-year-old Jacob Nephew were found dead in the home on Tacony Street, while 45-year-old Kathryn Nephew (Ramsland) and 7-year-old Oliver Nephew were found dead in the home on West Sixth Street, along with the suspect — identified as Anthony Nephew.
All were from Duluth.
Duluth police said the suspect and victims were known to each other, and said the investigation is “active and ongoing.” Authorities said there’s no ongoing threat to the community.
