The first week of November was a rainy one, with precipitation on four out of the first six days. At most, total rainfall averages near an 1.75 inches for the entire month of November, but within the first week we saw an average of about 1.5 inches of precipitation.
“That’s a good dose of rain for this month,” said climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley.
More-significant precipitation is expected in the next week as well. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with Seeley about the increased rain in their weekly weather chat.
